The BR postcode area is the Bromley postcode area in southeast London. It does not cover all of southeast London, but it does cover some of Kent as well. There are seven post towns in this postcode area: Bromley, Keston, West Wickham, Beckenham, Orpington, Swanley and Chislehurst. In those seven post towns there are 9 postcode districts, alphanumerically labeled BR1 through BR8 (there are two BR2's). Surrounding the Bromley postcode area, which serves a section fo the London Borough of Bromley and part of the Sevenoaks district in Kent, are the London SE, Dartford (DA), Tonbridge (TN), and Croydon (CR) postcode areas, clockwise from the north.
The BR1 postcode district is in the BROMLEY post town, along with one of the BR2's. It has a coverage area that includes Downham, Bromley and Bickley and is in the Lewisham and Bromley local authority areas. It is quite a large postcode district more or less following the rail line to the east. In the northern part of this postcode area is Downham Fields, while Sundridge Park Golf Course takes up a large area in the district's northeast. A bit of Jubilee Country Park is also within the BR1 postcode district, along the district's southern boundary. Residents can get some entertainment at the Churchill Theatre on Bromley's High Street, visit the Shortlands Golf Course, or cross into the postcode district bordering to the south to the Whitehall Recreation Ground. This postcode district can be found due south of Greenwich in southeast London about halfway to the Greater London boundary.
As we mentioned, attention to detail is one of the most important parts of the home removals that we do. You'll see that when you speak with someone in our office, or when you consult our helpful removal checklist or other web pages. One detail you don't want to forget is to contact your council - Bromley
- to reserve a place for the moving vehicle to park on the street in front of your new home or office. This is a timesaving (and possibly money-saving) tip from us to you. For more tips, call now on
